BAYROL Quicktest water test strips are designed for quick and convenient testing of the most important swimming pool water parameters. A single test strip measures free chlorine or bromine, pH, total alkalinity (TA) and algicide concentration. Regular water testing helps detect changes in water balance early and ensures the correct dosage of water treatment products.

When to use?

  • Before the start of the swimming season.
  • For regular water quality monitoring (recommended at least once a week).
  • After topping up the pool with fresh water.
  • After intensive pool use.
  • After heavy rainfall.
  • Before adjusting the dosage of water treatment products.

Instructions for use

  1. Completely immerse the test strip in the pool water.
  2. Move the strip gently back and forth for approximately 5 seconds.
  3. Remove the strip without shaking off the water.
  4. Immediately compare the pH colour with the colour chart on the container.
  5. After 10 seconds, compare the colours for free chlorine (or bromine), total alkalinity and the remaining parameters with the colour chart.
  6. To measure the algicide concentration, immerse the strip in the water again for 45 seconds without moving it, then remove it and compare the colour with the chart.
  7. If necessary, adjust the water balance using the appropriate water treatment products.

Recommended Values

  • Free chlorine: 0.5–1.0 mg/L.
  • Bromine: 3–5 mg/L.

Storage

Store in the original tightly closed container in a cool, dry place at temperatures below 30 °C. Protect from moisture and direct sunlight. Close the container immediately after removing a test strip. Do not touch the reagent pads with your fingers.

These test strips are intended for water analysis only. They are for single use only and cannot be reused. Always follow the instructions on the product label and use the appropriate water treatment products according to the test results.

Delivery Information

Preparing your order for dispatch takes 2–3 working days from the moment the payment is received in the shop's bank account. Once your order is ready, it will be handed over to the courier for delivery.

Home delivery prices

The shipping cost throughout Europe is calculated according to the rates set by the courier service.

Before delivering the goods, the courier will arrange an acceptable delivery time for you by phone (working days Mon-Fri 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.).

Delivery costs are not included in the price of the product specified in the online store.

The shipping cost will be added to the shopping cart value.

Collection of goods

When receiving the delivered goods, please, check the condition of the shipment (packaging), make sure that the packaging is not deformed or damaged. If you suspect that the package has been damaged or deformed, do not sign the package documents and return the package to the courier. If the package is in order, then sign the invoice (bill of lading) or other shipment transfer-acceptance document. The signed document is proof that the ordered goods were delivered to you.

When purchasing products longer than 2.4m, the customer may have to arrange for unloading.

Returning the goods

We are doing our best to pack goods purchased from us. Unfortunately, sometimes harm might be done during transportation. Even if you do not know if something is damaged or not, it is always good to take photos of arrived package on your smartphone, you will need those in case if any harm is done to the content.

If you can see signs of damaged packaging, please take the following steps:

  • Take photos of package and make sure damage is visible.
  • Unpack your order and check if any products are harmed, take a photo of damaged item.
  • If there is any damage, please, inform us via email [email protected]

NB! For all claims of damaged or broken goods, you must make your claim within one (1) working day from the date of delivery. The Company must receive full details and description in written form with attached photos of the damaged goods.

When the buyer refuses to accept delivered goods that are not defective, he must pay the costs of returning the goods to us.
